"Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me." - Psalm 51:10 (KJV).

We serve an action God. King David knew the Lord as an action God based on the Psalms he wrote: 1. "Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me." (Ps. 51:10); 2. "He brought me up also out of an horrible pit, out of the miry clay, and set my feet upon a rock, and established my goings." (Ps. 40:2); & 3. "He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake." (Ps. 23:3). David repeatedly called on the Lord to actively intervene in his life.

The definition of action is the process of doing something, typically to achieve an aim; to be active; to perform an activity. I know the Lord has been very active when it comes to me. In the process of doing a work in my life, He has performed a lot of activities! I thank the Lord every day for verses like Philippians 1:6, "And I am certain that God, who began the good work within you, will continue his work until it is finally finished on the day when Christ Jesus returns." - (NLT). I'm not finished yet!! I may not be where I'm going, but I'm sure not where I started!!

As Christians serving an active God, we are now called to be active servants for Him. Once we've been cleaned, delivered, and restored it is our duty, as Christians, to tell others about the wonderful things the Lord has done, and continues to do in our lives. Why? To give God the glory for the work He's done. We are called to be influencers and difference makers. At work and at home. To the strangers in the gas station and the couple living next door. Everything we say and do should be a reflection of the God we serve.

Jesus instructs us in Matthew 5:16, "Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven." (KJV). That is a call to action. Actions speak louder than words! Remember that. People watch the way we act more than they listen to what we say. Be faithful to your spouse. Be diligent at work. Be the one who doesn't cuss around your friends. The ones we are trying to win to the Lord are the ones watching what we do. "And whatsoever ye do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God and the Father by him." - Colossians 3:17 (KJV). Let your light shine in this dark world.

We do, in fact, serve an action God. If He says it, He does it! What He does in one person's life, he'll do in every person's life. What He's done in my life, He will do in yours! Make sure you give Him the praise for the wonderful things He's doing in your life. Not only in the words you speak, but in your actions, as well. God bless!!!!

A - Alone no more - We don't have to do it alone. He will never leave us nor forsake us.

C - Can, not can't - Break the negative mindset. We can do all things through Christ.

T - Toward our goals - Set goals. Be responsible. A workman need not be ashamed.

I - In step with God - Ask Him to align your will with His. Not our will, but His.

O - Onward Christian Soldier - Don't give up ground to the enemy. Stand fast in the liberty where Christ has made you free.

N - Never forget - Never forget where He brought you from. We will overcome the devil by the blood of the Lamb and the power of our testimonies.
